Just as a stream of running water flows
may patience flow from our being
it is a gift to ourselves and others allowing
us deeper reflection, wisdom and insight
standing back before stepping forward
often is the best course of action
a practice worthy of learning
one cannot undo actions or words
that may sting the heart of another and
is in contradiction to our higher calling
