Grief and loss are hard, they can open a door for deep reflection which can involve a great deal of inner work, pain and adjustment. Most of all, I feel, they call for surrender and the humility to ask God for help.
Without the support, love of many, and honoring ourselves the changes would be even harder. Love is a precious gift that comes in so many colors and forms.
