After the storm when the winds have calmed down
and the rains of heavy discord have been washed away
may we find peace and newness to truly see one another
in a broader view of openness and acceptance
knowing that we are all just human souls on this journey
called life, here for a short while to evolve as spiritual beings leaving our mark on the timeline of eternity
may all who have suffered losses that words cannot express find a new way to live with the pain that never goes away and may
that pain find a quiet place of rest within the soul
may our lives be richer, deeper and more reflective with a
softness that comforts not only our inner being but each
and every person we encounter and may the challenges
have brought you just a little closer to God and yourself
